About this award

You can receive one of two scholarships, with a total of $5,000 divided amongst these two scholarships each year. This is a scholarship, not a loan, so you do not have to pay it back. This is for you if you are an Indigenous student and aspiring entrepreneur who wants to create positive change in your community. Deadlines come around three times a year on August 1, November 1 and February 1, so aim for whichever one is next. Who qualifies

You must have any Indigenous affiliation to apply. Priority will be given to Cold Lake First Nations students pursuing a 4-year Business degree program. There is a strong preference for students enrolled in a Bachelor of Commerce or Bachelor of Business Administration, and a general preference for bachelor's degree students. Second preference will be given to students enrolled in a Business Administration Diploma, Graphic Design, or Chemical Technology program. Overall preference is given to those from Cold Lake First Nations.
