Canada Lands Company Scholarship

About this award

Get $5,000 for your undergraduate studies in real estate, hospitality, or shared services if you are an Indigenous student in six selected provinces — apply by August 1, November 1, or February 1.

You can receive one (1) scholarship of $5,000. This is a scholarship, not a loan, so you do not have to pay it back. This is for you if you are an Indigenous student with any Indigenous affiliation who is pursuing an undergraduate degree in the real estate sector, the attractions and hospitality sector, or the shared services sector (which includes human resources, legal, communications, marketing, or IT). You have three deadlines to choose from: August 1, November 1, and February 1. When you apply, ask Indspire (the organization managing the funding) how and when you will hear back—whether by email, phone, or through their portal. Selection criteria aren't published — ask Canada Lands Company how winners are chosen and roughly how many applicants they typically receive so you can judge your odds. Ask Canada Lands Company during your application how the money will reach you — some awards pay students directly, others apply funds to tuition. Confirm this so you can plan your cash flow.
