Get at least $3,500 for your tuition if you are a second-year or senior Juris Doctor student in AB, SK, or BC who is active in sports, arts, or social justice — apply by June 1, 2026.

You can receive one or more awards valued at a minimum of $3,500. This is a scholarship, not a loan, so you do not have to pay it back. This is for you if you are a law student who balances your academic life with a passion for competitive athletics, music, fine arts, or fighting for social justice. You must apply by June 1, 2026. When you apply, ask Calgary Foundation how and when you will hear back — whether it is through email, a portal, or a phone call. Selection criteria aren't published — ask Calgary Foundation how winners are chosen and roughly how many applicants they typically receive so you can judge your odds.
