About this award

Get up to $5,000 for your studies in social work or counselling — apply by August 1, November 1, or February 1.

You can receive one of three bursaries: one for $5,000 for a PhD, one for $5,000 for a BSW (Bachelor of Social Work — an undergraduate degree in social work), or one for $3,000 for the Aboriginal & Northern Counselling Certificate Program. As a bursary, this money is yours to keep and you do not have to pay it back. This is for you if you are an Indigenous student pursuing a career in social work or counselling. You have three deadlines to choose from: August 1, November 1, and February 1.
